here are some facts you need to know!
With regards to maintenance, by law, you must have each of your vehicle hoists serviced annually by a qualified technician.
Also, updates to AS 2550.3-2002, Section 7 – Maintenance Inspection and Repairs, have highlighted some critical changes you may not be aware of are:
✓ Clause 7.2.2 Routine Maintenance Service shall not exceed three (3) monthly intervals
✓ Clause 7.3.2 Pre-operational Visual Inspection shall be carried out at the commencement of each working shift and a log book completed.
You must also have a 10 year major inspection in accordance with AS/NZS 2550.9.1996.
